about
There, They're, Their.
Seriously - who decided to have THAT many words that sound alike? Not fair, dude... NOT fair.
If you've ever struggled with the usage of these words, THIS song will fix your brain. Each word has a verse defining it, showing examples, etc. AND there's a terrific bridge with all THREE in the same sentence:
"They're over there with their funky, funky hair."
Move over, Shakespeare. Matt Garwood is bringing the literary HEAT on this one ;)

There, They’re, Their
by Matt Garwood
Copyright 2012
*REFRAIN*
If you mean where, say “there”
If you mean they are, say “they’re”
If you’re talking possession, say “their”
Just know which one you mean
T-H-E-R-E is a location, [know what I mean?]
Like “There is a hamster in a wheel”
Or “No, he’s over there – what’s the deal?”
*Refrain*
T-H-E-Y-apostrophe-R-E
It just means, “They are”
Like, “They’re in a car”
Or, “They’re all much better at dodgeball than we are!”
*Refrain*
T-H-E-I-R tells possession, like “I love their car”
Or “Their hair sure looks wack”
Or “I wish I had their snack”
Or “Their unicycle [doesn’t] have handlebars”
*Refrain*
They’re over there, with their funky, funky hair (x4)
*Refrain*
